Bahamas Honeymoons

There are over 700 islands in the Bahamas, surrounded by waters ranging in color from emerald to turquoise to crystal blue. The Bahamas is a great fit for couples looking for variety on their tropical honeymoon. It’s perfect for romance, seclusion, entertainment, water sports, nature preserves... the list goes on and on. Find shipwrecks scattered throughout the islands, powder-soft beaches to relax during the day and plenty of casinos for amusement at night.

With so many islands and cays to choose from, it may seem difficult to figure out where to go in the Bahamas. If you are looking for more social settings and casinos, stick with Cable Beach or Paradise Island. If you're interested in seclusion and romance, head to one of the more remote outer islands. The Bahamas does not lack beautiful beaches. Pink Beach on Harbour Island is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Bahamas and is a perfect location for swimming. Some of the other favorites include Treasure Cay Beach, North Shore Beach (Cat Island), Guana Beach (Abaco), Tahiti Beach (Elbow Cay) and Gold Rock Beach (Grand Bahama).

Traveling Cheap to the Bahamas

High-rise and luxury resorts are plentiful in the Bahamas, as well as small hotels. With so many hotels on the islands, the prices tend to be competitive. For a budget honeymoon, stay on one of the larger islands to reduce airfare. You can even fly to Florida and then take a ferry over to Nassau or Grand Bahama. If you don't mind more people around, the larger islands tend to have more affordable hotels and dining.

Haiti is a save place now...

A reputation for danger and instability. And while the turbulent history of Haiti doesn't lend itself well to apologists, the country itself has long been given a bad rap. While crime, environmental problems and urban decay definitely have a home here, it's neither more or less sketchy than many places in the world. And if anyone tries to talk you out of visiting Haiti, politely ignore them, as Haiti culture makes the island one of the most complex and fascinating locations in all of the Caribbean. In fact, Haiti tourism was a bustling industry just 25 years ago. The untamed scenery and exotic locale were legendary, attracting movie stars and business moguls from all over the world. Notoriety came in the form of Haiti's national religion of voodoo, but it was soon replaced by a different, more ominous marking – dictatorships, drug trafficking, widespread poverty and violence, all of which seriously wounded Haiti tourism. And despite the return of democracy to the island in the 21st century, the island is still in the process of recovery. But that is neither here nor there, as the island still has enormous beauty to offer. Factor in that the government and people of Haiti are trying their best to restore the island into a tourist haven, and you have all the makings for a sublime trip to an island rediscovering itself. The palm trees and gingerbread houses of Jacmel make the city one of the most beautiful locations in all of the Caribbean. The fading white of the buildings and voodoo artwork give the city an exoticism that reminds one of why this used to be one of the top tourist spots in the entire Caribbean.
Despite the messy history of Haiti, the country is indeed becoming more tourist-friendly. Fear mongering and trumped-up State Department warnings are the only reminders of what Haiti used to be. Luckily, the people of Haiti are more concerned with what the island is turning into: one of the best kept secrets and one of the great examples of political and economic renewal in all of the world.

Mauritius Island...family or honeymoon Vacation

A Luxury Family Vacation to Mauritius is a dream for many people, and if you choose Le Prince Maurice then you won’t be disappointed. As a family our family vacation idea was in fact La Belle Mare Plage in August 2008. We chose it because they offered us a fantastic deal, but when we arrived at the airport no awaiting vehicle, and although the hotel were expecting us, we hung around for an hour before the Manager came up and apologised, saying our suites had been damaged, and would we mind if they upgraded us to Le Prince Maurice their sister hotel, where we would have two suites and not a suite and an adjoining room.Having little choice we accepted, and what a joy Le Prince Maurice turned out to be.
Mauritius 5 star Luxury Holidays are the choice of tens of thousands of holidaymakers every year, and this number is rising rapidly. It is about an eleven hour flight from most European departure cities to this Indian Ocean Hideaway Some people choose the Dinarobin Golf and Spa Hotel, and there must be some good reasons that make them choose this hotel for their package holiday in Mauritius.
Indeed Dinarobin has become a popular destination for a Mauritius honeymoon as well as a Mauritius package holiday. Perhaps it is the scenery, because the exclusive resort of Dinarobin, which has excellent facilities, is surrounded by dramatic scenery and sits adjacent to over four miles of immaculate white sand beach. There is excellent diving here, and the resort of Dinarobin is a great place for couples so well suited if you are planning a honeymoon in Mauritius. You will find the Dinarobin Golf and Spa Hotel on the very attractive south west corner of Mauritius, with Le Morne mountain making a great backdrop, and it is about a one hour drive from the airport. The hotel consists of a series of thatched villas in tropical gardens facing the beautiful beach. Each villa has between two and six suites. Each suite at Dinarobin has a large and private verandah, and is furnished with natural wood and bamboo.
